Exhibition of Cēsu alus history open in Riga
The exhibition of Cēsu alus history is open for visitors in March and April 2010 at the Republic of Latvia Patent Office Technical Library.
In 2008, JSC Cēsu alus created the first beer exhibition in Latvia in the Cēsis New Castle. The exhibition The History of Cēsu alus and Investment into Cēsis CityDevelopment tells about more than 400 years of company history, development and achievements. Now a part of the exhibition is also open for visitors in Riga at the Patent Office Technical Library on Šķūnu Street 17.
The information revealed at the exhibition invites visitors to learn about the history of the second largest beer brewery in Latvia and to follow the progress of beer packaging tendencies, as well as the design of beer labels during more than 400 years of Cēsu alushistory.
One of the Patent Office Technical Library tasks is to promote public awareness about the significance of industrial property protection issues. JSC Cēsu alus exhibition part perfectly illustrates the role of product brands in the promotion of company production popularity.
The library offers information about the product brands submitted and registered in the Republic of Latvia, as well as about product brands registered internationally and in the Community. The data base “History of the Latvian Industry” compiled by the Library provides information about companies in Latvia.
The library’s reading rooms and exhibition area are open for visitors every day from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Wednesdays until 19:00. The exhibition in the Library will be open for visitors until the end of April.
